Sixth Form Building, John O Gaunt School
As a feasibility study this commission has defined detailed plan and elevational proposals within the context of a wider school site masterplan vision. Accommodation allows for extensive school and community access and usage, with the building being defined by three ‘cubes’, representing the differing activities within the building, all of which are linked by a unifying and focal foyer space. Consultation was carried out through the evolution of the proposals, including detailed liaison with the school, local planning officrs and open community consultation.
